Welcome to the Poet,

The Decadent, fun and lively bar that offers so much more than just a fancy venue. The service is exceptional and fun, and the clientele are down to earth and friendly making the poet a superb place for a night out or as your local pub.

We offer a great menu of homemade, wholesome food with specials changing weekly. Main courses averaging at £8 each.

There is a pool table. Dart boards on request for competitions. Pop Quiz every other Tuesday.

Thursday and Fridays we have DJ’s. Once a month we hold a poker night.

We also provide our venue for large company quizzes which work extremely well as we have a seating capacity for 120 people and a great sound system.

Because we are in the heart of Petticoat lane market and a stones throw from the amazing Spitalfields market, Sunday is a great day to be in the area. Take a break from the hustle and bustle and come and try our excellent Roast dinner. Or put your feet up with a coffee and a piece of cake.

Saturday is available for private parties, Weddings, Christenings. Whatever the occasion, we can do it.
